Fallout 4: 8 Things That Must Happen At Bethesda’s E3 Conference

7. Addressing The Rumours And Satisfying The Fans

Look one way and you'll see someone claiming to be a Bethesda employee, the other and it's a 'leaked memo' showing location 'details', behind you is someone purporting to be advertising to work for the company themselves... basically over the course of the last five years fans have been dragged through the muck backwards by any and everyone attempting to know even the smallest of new details on the game. Something that allows the rumour mills to keep working through the night is Bethesda's staunch refusal to confirm or deny what's out there - instead assumedly letting the PR hype machine get everyone prepped and ready for what's to come. It's obviously worked as we're all whipped into a stupor - but it'd definitely be a good fan-pleasing tactic to run the gamut of just how crazy the media coverage has been around the game, letting people know who was right and wrong in the end about anything from characters to locations and everything in between.
