As you can see in this teaser image for the Wasteland Workshop DLC, there will be additional props in the settlement-building that will let you build full-on gladiatorial fighting pits, where youll be able to condemn settlers, deathclaws and raiders to deadly battles (or, at least, battles until someone takes a knee in that way that invincible Fallout characters do). We don't yet know much about how the whole capturing-and-fighting of creatures and people in the wasteland will work, but hopefully it'll be a bit more usable than the settlement-building, which always felt awkward, clunky, and more like a mod than a fully fleshed-out game feature. One thing that would make this mechanic interesting would be if you could train up your captured creatures through forcing them to fight, then choose what areas to improve them in, what perks to give them and so on. Then, once they've picked up enough experience in the pit, you could take your freshly-trained creatures out into the wasteland with you, screaming "Radscorpion, I choose you!" as you throw them into the fray.
