Fallout 4 DLC: 10 Things We Can't Wait To Do

7. Find Out More About Those Whales

Take a closer look at the Far Harbor teaser picture, and you'll see not one, not two, but three colossal whales carcasses lying in the sea. Are these just moody props to reinforce the air of decay and dilapidation to the Maine harbour town, or are these creatures hinting at possible DLC content that we don't yet know about? Let's look at the evidence. First of all, these skeletons aren't just vestiges from before the bombs dropped, because the whale in the mid-distance on the far left appears to still have its flesh intact. In fact, looking closely, does the water around its tail not look disturbed by the movement of its tail, and is that not possibly an arc of fine water spraying out of its blowhole? Yes, dear readers. Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me, there's a good chance that that whale could be alive. And why not? If humans can survive the nuclear apocalypse by turning into ghouls, then surely resilient whales should be able to too. In addition, one of the NPCs in Fallout 4 talks about the 'blue ghoul whale' called Ol' Peg, which spawned countless fan theories about how the mysterious creature could indeed be in the game. Naturally, people wandered the Boston coastline in search of Ol' Peg, but to no avail. What do you think? Could we be looking at Ol' Peg right here in the teaser image?
