Fallout 76: 10 Things You Must Do First
9. Scavenge Like Your Life Depends On It (Because It Does)
One word: scavenge, scavenge, scavenge. As is the norm for the franchise, Fallout 76 is absolutely littered with loot - much of it garbage, admittedly - and you can do yourself a huge favour by getting into the habit of sucking it up at every errant opportunity.
Especially in the early going, it makes a ton of sense to inspect every dilapidated shed and hollowed-out building you find for goodies, especially given the game's far harsher survival elements compared to previous entries.
Nothing is ever a waste as junk can be used for crafting, while dedicated pilfering from the land should ensure you remain stocked up with a respectable supply of weapons, ammo, health items and maybe even the occasional rare mod.
This might in fact be the one area where Fallout 76 has an edge over Red Dead Redemption 2: looting a dozen corpses doesn't take up five minutes of your life. Efficiency!
