7. Will We Meet Any Beloved Factions?
Many people are seeing the Brotherhood of Steel helmet on the front of the Fallout 76 box, and as a pre-order bonus, and thinking this confirms they'll be in the game. However their gear is all salvaged from pre-war army equipment, so this purely means Power Armor is back, not necessarily the Brotherhood.
Set so early in the universe, no-one can really be sure if we'll see factions like the Brotherhood of Steel, their offshoots, or the Minutemen. Of course lots of these factions were about then; many more factions have hazy origins, so they too could potentially make an appearance. But nothing's guaranteed.
Several sources online have noticed hints towards the Brotherhood of Steel in the trailers, but this doesn't mean the faction are in the game - Bethesda have a track record of being cheeky and throwing hints about that don't actually mean anything.
Like the enemies, how Bethesda chooses to incorporate the various factions will play a big part in how they define and distinguish their game. But let's at least hope we'll re-join the best faction ever - the Minutemen!
