Fallout 76 Review: 4 Ups & 7 Downs

2. It's Full Of Bugs

Fallout 76 Glitch
Bethesda

A Bethesda game being riddled with bugs is no surprise at all, but holy hell, this thing is basically a glitch manufacturing plant.

Here are just a few of the major bugs encountered after 20+ hours of play: environments and objects flat-out failing to load, gunshot audio being audible at the incorrect level (blaring loud despite the shooter being extremely far away, for example), missions that won't trigger, and your aiming reticule glowing red to indicate an attacker despite there being nobody in the vicinity.

There are countless more, as evidenced by the many glitch montages already on YouTube, and though some might insist that these bugs add some "charm" to the game, it really feels like Bethesda needs to be held accountable for their insanely sloppy work here.
