Players everywhere can now opt into the open beta for Family Guy Online and help test the free-to-play browser game. If your interest is peaked at the simple thought of an online Family Guy game, then be sure to sign-up for the beta now. The beta will allow you to create your own Family Guy Online character and become a virtual citizen of Quahog. As you play, you explore a fully 3D city that allows you to interact with your friends and all of your favorite characters of the show. The dialogue you hear as you explore was done by the same voice actors that have worked on the show. Even better is that, the actual script was written by the show's writers. Developers for the game worked very closely with those involved in the Family Guy show which will allow for a truly authentic and hilarious experience. It doesn't appear to really be a contender to take over the World of Warcraft throne, but for fans of the series it could prove to be a great distraction.
