Far Cry 4: 10 Big Improvements You Need To Know About

6. Main Character Ajay Actually Works

Although Far Cry 3 did a great many things right with its gameplay, the story was a bit of a mess, cobbling together some weird ritualistic cult motivations into a 'boy-gone-wild' melting pot, the resultant goop being just malleable enough to see us through. It's safe to say nobody really bought Jason Brody's descent into a love of mass-killing without a few chuckles along the way, and it's why with FC4 we've got Ajay, whose parents were part of the Kyratese Rebellion. He's travelling to Kyrat to bury his mother's ashes, which already gives him a far more suitable background for the calamities that will ensue than part three's attempt at a 'what would you do?' ideal.
