Far Cry 6's Main Villain Is Reportedly Breaking Bad's Giancarlo Esposito

Will this be Far Cry's best baddie yet?

File this one under a rumour for now, but it looks as though Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul's Giancarlo Esposito might be the main antagonist of Far Cry 6. Recently the actor has been talking up a top-secret video game project that will be revealed soon, and a now-deleted report from GameReactor initially confirmed this to be Ubisoft's anticipated sequel.

While it's far from fact, Esposito would a perfect candidate to play one of Far Cry's signature baddies. His turn as Gus Fring resulted in one of the most memorable antagonists on the small screen, and you could easily see that same brand of quiet intensity lending itself well to this franchise. He'd be the next Better Call Saul cast member to join the franchise, following Michael Mando's iconic turn as Vaas in the third game.

However, Esposito is a talented actor who can play far more than a Fring-type character, so it's difficult to say for certain that this will be the case. Either way, with Ubisoft Forward coming July 12, we should know for certain soon.
