5. The Perfect Free-Kick
Some tricks are harder than others to master in real life as in simulation: I personally will never be able to master the art of the bicycle kick, having tried countless times - which is perhaps why I'm a goalkeeper. But the one trick that is most valuable in FIFA games, and which has always remained precious and elusive for an awful lot of players is the goal-scoring free-kick. You either hit it too hard, or straight at the keeper, and no matter who took it from your team of galacticos - whether Messi, Ronaldo or Yohan Cabaye - your efforts were very much more of the quality of Graham Taylor rather than Ryan Taylor. Unfortunately, there's no real simple approach to scoring free-kicks - it's just not that easy. But there are a raft of tutorials available across the net to teach you how to bend it like Beckham used to - and this is probably the most useful... http://youtu.be/ibOKBXZvZns Sometimes, you just hit it perfectly... http://youtu.be/ON9DbBXixys
