FIFA 13: 8 Awesome Ideas For Future DLC

2. Classic Teams

A huge omission in FIFA 13 is the lack of any classic players apart from the ridiculous selection on the classic team. This is an area where EA could do extremely well with a little bit of creativity. PES 2013 boasts 200+ classic players such as Pele, Maradona, Baggio, Roy Keane and Zidane. Imagine a match between the Real Madrid team of 2002 and the Brazilian Side of 1970. Or what about the unbeatable Arsenal side going toe to toe with Barcelona? Again, the possibilities are endless. There would be huge obstacles to get through before it happened but I don't see money being an issue. You could start small, maybe 10 teams and keep building throughout the year and up to the release of FIFA 14. A more mouth watering prospect would be the inclusion of these stars online. Could you put a price on Classic Ronaldo in Ultimate Team? The main thing is, it would shake things up and stop people from buying the same players again and again. It's annoying playing against Messi for the 50th time in a row. The players could be extremely rare with promotional online events rolled out as a means of getting one which would a great feature for future DLC. EA have the money to get legends on board, it just depends whether they want to spend it or not.
