5. Mini Skill Games
The biggest new addition to the game is the mini-game feature, represented on the trailer as Lionel Messi darting through cones and over obstacles. This could be the catalyst for 10/10 reviews after its release date of September 28, as it gives users the chance to learn the required analog stick movements to perform skills during a match. Whenever a new version of FIFA comes out, I want to get straight into the gameplay. This means I don't want to spend 30 mins studying the manual to learn the basic skills of Lionel Messi. But if I don't do this then all I have to work with are his high ball control stats and his pace. The new mini-games section gives players the chance to learn the moves while practicing the controls, getting experience and learning something your opponents won't expect; something that every user wants to do as soon as they open the box.
