2. Having To Buy The Same Game Twice
FIFA 14 is out next Friday in Europe on the current generation machines, but it's getting a
second release date on November 21 for those who want to buy it for the PS4 and Xbox One as well. Considering there are two months between now and then, a lot of us are just going to buy it for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 next week, but then, a lot of us will probably buy it again for next gen machines a couple of months later, just for the sake of better visuals and a new physics engine. Due to the fact the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One aren't backwards compatible, current gen FIFA 14 discs can't be played on the upcoming consoles, meaning we're likely going to be paying for the same product twice. The phrase "cash cow" springs to mind...
