1. First Touches
We've made it guys and girls. We've come so far. We're finally at the final point. And it is a biggie! Why, oh why, does Ronaldo forget how to control a simple pass every time I try to give it to him? It's not just him though. Messi, Robben, Ribery, Di Maria - all of these big, household names of world football seemingly forget how to play football when they step onto a wet or snowy pitch. If EA had limited the bad touches feature to, say, twice per game for each player that'd be fine. But I've been in games where Ronaldo has misplaced his touch over ten times. This is again, completely unrealistic. I just don't understand it, I'm holding LT, there's nobody near me, I'm not holding sprint and the ball still rolls away from me! This is probably the one feature which has sucked the most fun out of FIFA for me. It's completely ruined the game in my opinion and EA would do well to remove it, or at least tone it down considerably. Here's to opening FIFA 14 is actually a fun game to play!
