5. Living Worlds
With the new feature "Living Worlds", FIFA players are now transported to stadiums that are thriving with bustling fans, bringing the electricity of a real life match day to your console. In previous iterations of the game, supporters have been portrayed as repetitive cardboard cut-outs who don't respond to goals or much of the action happening out on the playing field. No more. Now, thanks largely to the added muscle of the next generation consoles, fans come alive and even influence matches by geeing on their side when there's 10 minutes on the clock and they're 1-0 down. The roar of the crowd urging their team on will now lead to players taking more chances, as they throw the kitchen sink at the opposition in search of that crucial leveller. Likewise, defending players will begin to feel the pressure as rival fans spur their team on. You're going to see that matches play out much more realistically next month when FIFA 14 hits the new consoles.
