2. Goodbye Cut-Scenes
On next generation consoles, FIFA 14 brings much more fluidity to the series than has previously been found in past generations of the game. When once the ball went out for a goal kick and a cut-scene morphed it to the feet of the opposing keeper, now, we will see ball boys racing to collect that errant football, before tossing it back to the goalkeeper to take his kick. When once the ball went out for a corner and one of our players was instantly teleported to the corner flag, now, we will see him run toward the edge of the pitch to take his set-piece. Everything that occurs within a match in FIFA 14 happens in real time, with no loading screens or repetitive cut-scenes of players walking up and down the pitch having fake conversations before being substituted. Now, players can live the none-stop action found in a real-life game of football, with the game having a much less synthetic appearance to it.
