Another rating that raised our eyebrows was Nemanja Vidic being afforded an 87. The big Serbian has been a loyal servant to Manchester United down the years and has won five Premier League titles and the Champions League. However, a spate of injuries has limited the 31-year-old to just 28 league appearances since the start of the 2011-12 season, and there's no way he's an 87. That rating, astonishingly, puts him on a par with the likes of Edinson Cavani and Gareth Bale (a little more on him later) and sees him given a higher rating than Vincent Kompany. EA got this one badly wrong. There may have been a time where an 87 for Vidic would have been met with acceptance, but those days are long gone.
