FIFA 14 Next Gen Trailer: 5 Things We Learned

1. Stunning Graphics

Fifa14wow The main thing that is going to differentiate next generation FIFA 14 from the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions is of course the graphics. Thanks largely to the extra processing power the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One machines churn out, developers are able to utilise the very best graphics for their games. FIFA 14 was a pretty solid looking title on the PS3, and indeed, the franchise has come a heck of a long way since those isometric days in the mid 1990s. Yet both are made to look laughably inferior when stacked up against the graphics found on the next generation version of FIFA. Using 1080p resolution, next gen FIFA presents one of the crispest, finest football simulation games ever made, all of it rendered at a remarkable 60 frames a second. Players will notice grass particles fly up off the pitch when Cristiano Ronaldo sprints with the ball, and will even see spray if playing on a wet surface. Added to that, player likenesses look more realistic than ever before, with brand new facial animations. The visual quality in FIFA is being taken to all new heights on the new consoles, as the below trailer will show.
