7. Take Heed Of The Practice Mode
The practice mode in FIFA 14 isn't just a good way to kill time waiting for a match to load ahead of kick off, (though it is a fun way to whittle away loading screens). It's also a useful tool of which to hone your craft with; from penalties, freekicks, crossing and passing, practice mode will help you refine all the skills you need to become a FIFA maestro. It will teach you how to bend the ball around a wall of players, how to aim and direct your penalties and passes, and there's some good old fashioned goofing around thrown in, such as getting the ball inside upturned bins and knocking down boxes. If you pay enough attention to practice mode, you may well learn a thing or two.
