FIFA 14 vs PES 2014: 7 Key Aspects Reviewed And Compared

6. Graphics

Untitled 11 They say a picture tells a thousand words, so I'll let the comparison screenshot above speak for itself. Konami have made graphical leaps and bounds with PES 2014 and it blows FIFA away at every turn. Aided by the new FOX Engine - next to be seen in the stunning looking MGS:V - PES 2014 looks incredible. From the players on the pitch to the cutscenes and replays, it's the one area where PES really does comprehensively outshine FIFA. FIFA is beginning to look stale and bland with shiny, clay-like players often hilariously sticking out in the heat of battle. Some of the world's biggest players such as Drogba and Aguero look atrocious. Even superstar Cristiano Ronaldo looks pretty poor, which is disappointing to say the least. Even though PES 2014 is on current consoles, you could be fooled to think it's not. It makes for an interesting head to head next year between EA's Ignite and Konami's Fox engines. Winner: PES 2014
