FIFA 15: 10 Changes Career Mode MUST Have

2. International Management

International management was a feature that was called for year after year and EA finally listened: players can now manage an international side along with our club, which allows them to conquer all areas of global football, but there are some huge problems with the whole process and it's become a waste of time, rather than a treat. A big problem is the fact that there are not enough international sides in the game as there should be for this feature to work properly. In the real world there are hundreds of countries battling for a place at the World Cup, but in FIFA just 60 battle for those 32 places. That means over half of the countries will qualify for the tournament. How on earth does that work with the qualification feature that we're required to play? The bottom two clubs don't quality? Or does it even matter where you finish? Adding more international teams is a hefty task but it is necessary for international management to work properly. Otherwise it is a huge farce. Another problem is that during our season no-one is very interested in a European Cup qualifier against Ukraine, especially when you're in the middle of a brilliant run of fixtures that sees you face all of your title challengers. This usually ends up with the international qualifiers being skipped until you reach the international tournament itself, where there is actually something to play for.
