Despite being shipped off to Napoli on loan after the signing of the aforementioned Mignolet, Pepe Reina managed to have a deceptively successful season in Serie A. In his 29 league appearances the Spanish keeper was vital in Napolis finishing third in Serie A. Reinas heroics in front of goal also helped Napoli to win the Coppa Italia, keeping a clean sheet in the second leg of the semi-final against the potent strike-force of Roma and then allowing Napoli to have a fairly stress-free 3-1 victory over Fiorentina in the final. Reinas time at Napoli was impressive enough for Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich to want to enlist the veteran keeper, paying a reported £2.5 million to sign the 31 year old. This will mean that Reina will play back-up to Manuel Neuer widely considered to be the finest goal keeper on the planet. Despite a surprisingly successful 2013/14 season which has seen the Spanish international signed by one of the biggest clubs on the planet, the leaked ratings state that Reina has been downgraded from FIFA 14. Given how well he has performed in recent times, it comes as quite a big surprise that the keepers rating has been lowered.
