FIFA 15: 10 Players Who Need Upgrading After World Cup

9. Raheem Sterling €“ 76

His individual quality may not have been enough to lift a lacklustre England side from a relatively strong group but this doesn€™t mean that Raheem Sterling €“ who is currently rated to be an average Premier League player at 76 €“ doesn€™t deserve a statistical upgrade for FIFA 15. England€™s opening game against Italy may have ended in disappointment but England fans were far from despondent as a select group of players €“ led by the 19-year-old €“ had shown so much promise. In this game Sterling was widely agreed to be the best player, exhibiting the dynamic pace, agility and energy which had been such a pivotal factor in Liverpool€™s near-win of the title. Though he failed to live up to these heights in the subsequent two group games, Sterling showed more than enough to highlight just how far off the mark that 76 rating is. His overall shooting statistic is currently an abysmal 62 (finishing 67, long shots 55). That one crisp strike against Italy which England fans across the country believed had scored single-handedly proves that Sterling€™s long shots are worthy of far more than 55. Add to this the fact that he scored an impressive nine league goals for Liverpool last season and it seems insane that Sterling has been represented as a player who can sprint but can€™t do a whole lot else. Suggested Rating: 82
