6. Angel Di Maria - Ranked 25th, Rated 86

Angel Di Maria has been left on last year's rating of 86 and had he earned the increase his performances deserved he would surely have climbed higher than his position as the 25th best player on the game. Di Maria starred for both club and country over the last 12 months and we're still trying to fathom why his score hasn't moved. Said rating seems to indicate the Argentine is just as good as he was a year ago when in fact he has got better. No player in La Liga provided more assists than Di Maria's 17 last season, which was more than the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Gareth Bale were able to conjure up. The winger also chipped in with four goals and was again impressive at the World Cup. He scored the crucial winner against Switzerland that saw his side progress into the quarter-finals and when he was injured for the final against Germany, his pace and creativity were badly missed as the Germans edged out a 1-0 win. And he showed recently that if he had played in that game, things may have been vastly different as he created three assists and scored a goal in his country's 4-2 win in a friendly earlier this week. Yet for some reason the so-called experts over at EA's headquarters have crunched the numbers and ascertained that Manchester United's new signing isn't worthy of even a one point increase - a boost which would probably have lifted him into the game's top 20.
