FIFA 15: 12 Leaked Ratings That Are Already Wrong

1. Andres Iniesta, 90

Andres Iniesta was not so long ago considered the third best player in world football by most pundits and so-called experts, falling just behind the €˜big two€™ of Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi. However, you could make a case that his apparently-leaked rating in FIFA 15 is overly generous. Iniesta has seemingly been afforded a score of 90 in EA Sport€™s upcoming football simulation game, which represents a glacial increase from the 89 he was assigned in last year€™s game. And we€™re trying to work out why EA thought the veteran midfielder deserved a boost. Barca endured a pretty dismal season last term, finishing the season without a trophy, while for Spain the 30-year-old was similarly ineffectual at this summer€™s World Cup, with La Roja crashing out of the group stages. If you had to name the third best footballer in the world today, would you still name Andres Iniesta? That€™s debatable. There are perhaps more worthy candidates in James Rodriguez, Luis Suarez and Gareth Bale for that particular mantle. We can€™t help shake the feeling that Iniesta is overrated in €™15, and personally, we€™d have left him at last year€™s rating of 89. Do you agree that these stars are either over or underrated in FIFA 15, or have EA actually got their ratings right? Share your thoughts in the comments thread, below.
