11/10. Branislav Ivanovi & Adam Lallana
EA SportsHere we see one of the Premier League's finest midfielders in a dog-fight with one of its best defenders as Adam Lallana tries to disposes Branislav Ivanovi of the ball. Branislav Ivanovi and the Serbian team he captains may have been absent from Brazil but Chelsea's superb right-back/centre-back still made World Cup headlines after the Suárez bite incident made the Serb's altercation with the Uruguayan relevant once again. Aside from all this scandal, the flexible defender had another superb season at Chelsea while offering up the smattering of league goals we have come to expect. Having players like Ivanovi makes Chelsea's lacking a quality striker rather less apparent. He is shown here using the strength which defines his playing style to defend the ball from Lallana. Unlike Ivanovi, Lallana was actually able to compete in the World Cup but limited game time meant that the potent attacking midfielder was unable to have the impact we had seen him have in the 2013/14 season with Southampton. This slightly tepid performance didn't stop the 26-year-old from being cherry-picked by Liverpool for a hefty £25-million price-tag. The talented midfielder will certainly be of massive use to Brendan Rodgers in Liverpool's 2014/15 campaign. Lallana may be known for his dynamic dribbling and playmaking abilities but he is shown here trying to complete a tackle on Ivanovi let's hope they haven't made Lallana too defensive.
