FIFA 15: 5 Outrageous Rumours That Won't Happen

5. No Transfer Market

EA SportsEA SportsIt would be madness to try and propose that FIFA Ultimate Team€™s Transfer Market isn€™t without its issues. From the system claiming that there are no gold contracts available to the market taking your hard earned coins from you without exchanging it for a player, the facility is plagued with glitches and connectivity issues which can frustrate, aggravate and enrage. This is an unbearable nuisance as the market is the economical backbone of the Ultimate Team experience, facilitating the mode€™s many auctions, trades and coin-making schemes. Rather than ironing out the issues with the Transfer Market, there are rumours circulating that the whole economy will be scrapped €“ players would instead be required to just buy more packs to build a team. Indeed, they made this change for the World Cup edition of Ultimate Team. We all know EA loves microtransactions but we can€™t imagine that this extreme change will actually be implemented. The outrage at the removal of the market would be so extreme that the extra cash EA may make through additional pack sales would be outweighed by the bad feeling and potential loss of sales of the game. Indeed some fans could feel so aggrieved that they may even make the jump to PES.
