FIFA 15: 50 Highest Rated Players In 2014

30. Neymar - Barcelona (86)

POSITION: LM - PACE: 90 - DRIBBLING: 92 - SHOOTING: 80 - DEFENDING: 30 - PASSING: 72 - PHYSICAL: 58 Five-star skill moves and weak foot rating are a given when it comes to Neymar; who enjoyed an excellent World Cup with Brazil. He enhanced his reputation on the biggest stage despite suffering a worrying injury in their quarter final win over Colombia. But Neymar is back on FIFA and he will be as expensive as ever... sigh. He's a fantasy player, and one that lots of gamers will dream about getting their hands on. If you're lucky enough to get him in a pack, count your blessings. And at least give him some game time before selling him for the big bucks.

29. Mats Hummels - Borussia Dortmund (86)

POSITION: CB - PACE: 66 - DRIBBLING: 71 - SHOOTING: 59 - DEFENDING: 88 - PASSING: 75 - PHYSICAL: 78 Mats Hummels breaks the top 30 on the game after being instrumental in Germany's World Cup success this summer. He's a colossus of a centre half and his defensive rating reflects that. He's not the quickest and his physical rating is also surprisingly low, though his overall rating is fair. Hummels is set to continue growing as a player in the coming months, having just been made captain of Dortmund.

28. Mesut –zil - Arsenal (86)

POSITION: CAM - PACE: 75 - DRIBBLING: 87 - SHOOTING: 74 - DEFENDING: 27 - PASSING: 86 - PHYSICAL: 58 After an underwhelming first season at Arsenal, Mesut –zil has been given a fair shove down FIFA's list. His tendency to drift in and out of games has come back to bite him in this sense, even after he started last season on fire with the Gunners. –zil is looking for a better season this time around and by exacting a little more influence over his club's games, he could find himself back around last season's 87 zone. His defensive rating is quite an accurate reflection of reality, mind you.

27. Thomas Müller - Bayern Munich (86)

POSITION: RM - PACE: 81 - DRIBBLING: 80 - SHOOTING: 84 - DEFENDING: 46 - PASSING: 82 - PHYSICAL: 72 Many of us may have figured EA will have been a little more generous to Thomas Müller after his exploits last season and over the summer. James Rodriguez's World Cup goals drew him onto a par with the hard working German, who himself bagged five goals in Brazil. Müller is constantly getting better and while he's been taken up from 85 overall, his score should have gone up two notches.

26. Marco Reus - Borussia Dortmund (86)

POSITION: LM - PACE: 91 - DRIBBLING: 86 - SHOOTING: 86 - DEFENDING: 33 - PASSING: 84 - PHYSICAL: 65 Here we have our fourth German player in a row (how good will they be on FIFA 15 though?!) and his name is Marco Reus. Brilliant for Dortmund for a long time, it was such a shame he missed the tournament in Brazil with a long term injury problem. His rapid speed will make him one of the most sought after wingers on the game once more, and out of the reach of many players with modest FUT budgets.
