Seamus Coleman was painfully underrated in FIFA 14 after his superb performances in his breakout season at Everton. After last years even better displays under Roberto Martinez, many were expecting him to increase exponentially. However, that has not proven to be the case. Last year, Coleman was rated at 78 overall with this pace at a reasonable 83 and his dribbling at 76. His shooting was his lowest score at 61, although his defending was rated at 76. His passing was rated at 74 and his heading was rated at a score of 68. The Irish defender is at 78. However his pace has dropped from 83 to 81, although his dribbling has risen by 1 to 77. His shooting increases from 61 to 67 and his defending rises from 76 to 78, but his passing has fallen to 71 from last years rating of 74. One change sees heading replaced by physicality, in which case Coleman receives a rating of 77 for this years edition. All in all, an unfair rating for the Everton right back, whom many would have expected to see ahead of new Arsenal full back Mathieu Debuchy.
