Last year was Ross Barkleys breakout year as Roberto Martinezs style allowed the young Englishman to flourish, scoring some wonderful goals in the process. Labelled as one of Englands bright hopes for the future, many Everton fans expect his scores to rise in this years edition of FIFA. Last year saw Barkley given an overall rating of 77, with his pace at a high 80 and his dribbling given the same score. His shooting had a score of 67, which considering the quality of his goals over the season was expected to rise highly this time around. His defending was at a low 61 with his passing at 74, and heading at 66. Overall, Barkley has risen by just one point, now standing at 78. His pace has fallen to 79, with his dribbling score remaining the same at 80. His shooting has increased by 4 points to 71 while his defending has fallen by a huge ten points to a lowly 54 points. His passing has stayed the same at 74 with his new physicality rating standing at the same level, leaving Barkleys changes somewhat underwhelming considering the quality of his performances last year for Everton. Regardless, he is still a player to keep an eye on should his stats be improved over the current season.
