Since signing with City back in 2010 Yaya Toure has been a cructial player in the Sky Blues rise to Premier League superpower status. However, it has been the 2013/14 season where the big Ivorian has shown his true potential, without doubt being the most important player in Citys closely fought league title win. His current rating of 86 may be high but it is by no means high enough for a player of Toures pedigree. Prior to this season the 31-year-old had never converted a direct free-kick into a goal in a City shirt this season he has bagged an astounding 4 of 7 direct free-kicks. His 65-free kick accuracy and 70-curve in FIFA 14 in no way reflect his emergence this year as one of the worlds great free-kick maestros. These set-piece stats are indicative of Yayas season as a whole as he has been a huge asset to City. Despite his scoring an insane 20-league-goals (many in quite some style) he hasnt shirked on his defensive duties, still running a tight ship sitting in front of Man Citys back four. The season Toure has just had warrants that he be give a spot in FIFA 15s illustrious top 10.
