FIFA 15 Ultimate Team: 10 Legends Who Were Criminally Overlooked

1. Diego Maradona

Suggested Rating €“ 95 If the continued absence of the aforementioned Johan Cruyff from FIFA Ultimate Team€™s offering of Legends is baffling then the exclusion of Diego Maradona is nothing short of scandalous. Granted €“ the Argentine€™s self-destructive tendencies may have infused his otherwise incredible career with controversy but virtually every fan of football ranks Maradona as being in a league of his own alongside fellow South American Pelé. Much like his son-in-law Aguero, Maradona employed his diminutive stature to his advantage; using his low centre of gravity to change direction in a flash and humiliate the lumbering centre-backs trying to tackle him. As well as his indisputable talent on the ball, the Argentine was a gifted goal scorer, netting 312 goals in his career and still retaining the title of Napoli€™s highest all-time goal scorer. His ridiculous talent on the field led to success following the striker wherever he went, evidenced by his 12 major trophy wins including the World Cup and two Serie A titles. His penchant for cocaine abuse certainly shouldn€™t give EA Sports the authority to exclude Maradona from a grouping of legendary players. Maradona is irrefuitably one of the greatest of all-time and it€™s nothing short of horrendous that EA Sports continue to prevent gamers from scoring goals like this on Ultimate Team.
