FIFA 15 allows you to dribble with a virtual Lionel Messi, but FIFA 16 allows you to control the closest thing to the great man himself as EA recorded his dribble motions and technique to integrate into the game. His running style will form the basis of many pacey dribblers, and the addition of no-touch dribbling adds another ounce of realism, flair and excitement to the game. Players can detach themselves from the ball, though they still remain in relative control. This can allow the player to stop, and then use explosive speed to accelerate away from the helpless defenders. Obviously it will be a subtle feature, but it should be noticeable with the world's greatest stars. It has been described like pressing a clutch in the car, so the vehicle still moves without direct power being thrown into it, before re-engaging to accelerate.
