So last year's FIFA 15 introduced the 'pulling shirts' function giving the defensive element of the game a whole new feel. Despite it meaning that you could apply further pressure on attackers (if you were defending) or defenders (if you are attacking) it wasn't developed enough to make a huge difference to previous versions and the referees were far too strict. On FIFA 16, the feature is now fully developed. Using the Circle/B button you can now apply pressure to your opponents' players constantly and if you use it intelligently (by not over-pressing) you can win a gain an advantage during any physical battle you come up against. Judging when to apply pressure and when to make the big slide tackle is a key decision when playing on FIFA and now there are even more decisions to make. Do you press Zenit Saint Petersburg's Hulk or get in close against Arsenal's Olivier Giroud? Probably not, but if you keep up the pressure on your opposition then they're much more likely to misplace passes or fumble their shots.
