FIFA 16 Sunderland Career Mode Guide: 11 Things You Must Do

1. Sign Attacking QUALITY (CAM, ST)

Sunderland have some good options in the game, and while the real-world team is struggling to 100% click into gear, the squad stats are strong on FIFA 16. If Fletcher and Graham are offloaded, you've got money and wages to spare. Your priority, ahead of any other position, should be a true CAM. Somebody who can link up the two holding midfielders, two wingers, and striker. Dennis Praet (77, plus 84 Potential), Juan Fernando Quintero (78, plus 83 Potential), and Pablo Sarabia Garcia (77, plus 82 Potential) are three definite targets. The latter may also be available for cheaper due to his contract expiring at the end of the first season. Then if you do manage to sell players, shift finances, and scramble the cash together. A big, towering striker would be a great bonus. It's ambitious, and may not be affordable if you've already invested heavily in a CAM, but if you wanted a more traditional 4-4-2 approach, go for the striker instead. Breel Donald Embolo is not a name you'll have heard often, but the 18-year-old Swiss striker is a must-buy. He's already got 85 Pace average, 78 Dribbling average, 78 Physical average, and individual attributes like 76 Finishing and 75 Shot Power. Invest around £10 million into him and you'll reap the rewards of his 88 Potential.
