FIFA 17: 10 Overpowered Players Who Will Dominate

Goalkeepers have been a near-constant bone of contention year upon year for those who plough endless hours into FIFA. Thankfully, FIFA 16 did fix some niggles that have been prevalent for years, but there were still those odd occasions when the goalie takes an overwhelming interest in committing career suicide.

EA will tweak things in FIFA 17, but it's imperative to have a solid man between the sticks. They don't come any better than Manuel Neuer, yet another Bayern Munich player on the list. At the risk of overkill, it would seem slightly crass to leave the best goalkeeper in the entire game out of the fun.

Positioning is key for set pieces, and Neuer's is at 91. Taking into account the fact he also has a 90 for handling and 89 for both diving and reflexes, and he's unstoppable as a shot-stopper. His speed (60) could be much better, but Neuer also has a 95 for kicking, meaning he can start attacks just as soon as stop them.

With any luck, the skill of a good goalkeeper will mean much more this time around. Neuer's stats merit that.
