It's always a little cruel to punish players for being out injured for a lot of the season, so it's nice to see that EA Sports haven't done so with the 31-year-old Spaniard.
He was much-missed by Arsenal last year - particularly as his absence robbed the midfield of balance - and will be a big boost to the team this term provided he stays fit. Having him and Xhaka in the starting line up should firm up the centre nicely.
