Simon Mignolet gets a bad rap from a lot of Liverpool fans: despite chipping in with 11 clean sheets last year, the Belgian has become something of a scapegoat at times. Yes, he has mistakes in him, and he has a tendency to look shaky if his confidence drops, but he's still a more than capable custodian.
Sure, his long kicking could be worked on with a 66% success rate, and he'd probably like his average goals conceded per game to be below the 1.53 level it was last year, but he'll improve as long as Liverpool's defence does. And it should this year. Maintaining at 78 is probably exactly right.
