Age: 19

Position: ST

Growth Potential: 76-86

Cost: £ 6.0 million

Penaranda is a wonder kid from Venezuela who has played for Udinese, Granada and Watford, these being all the teams owned by Italian businessman Giampaolo Pozzo. Despite being traded between the three like a game of pass the parcel, he has featured regularly for the Venezuelan national side, meaning that he has regularly played against some of the world top talent.

He already has excellent pace and dribbling, dictating that he can already run rings around the opposing centre backs. A key stat that he does lack is shooting, but this is nothing that can't be fixed with a bit of training. If his talent is nurtured, Penaranda can become a world class striker for Venezuela and for a club that is hopefully outside of the Pozzo ownership trifecta.
