FIFA 18: 10 Improvements We Want To See In Career Mode

5. More Realistic Transfers

Starting a new Career Mode and instantly disabling the first Summer transfer window is advisable in FIFA 17. Otherwise, you may just find a bunch of scripted transfers happening time and time again, meaning the Man Utd your team lines up against on opening day isn't anything like the real life version.

Complaining about the CPU making squad changes does seem churlish, but EA need to calm down slightly when it comes to those in-game transfers. Jose Mourinho splashing out the better part of £200 million on three top strikers is annoying at best and downright unrealistic at worst.

If anything, transfers during that opening window should ease players into the management experience rather than battering them over the head with endless messages warning that Man Utd, Man City, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus are scooping up all the best players.

A more measured approach would be better, and hopefully that's how EA program things in FIFA 18.
