18. Gerard Deulofeu (Barcelona)

He didn't cut it at Everton and he toiled at AC Milan too, but Barcelona were keen to bring Gerard Deulofeu back to Spain this past Summer. Gerard's big problem is that he doesn't score enough goals. He managed only 2 on Merseyside and 4 in Milan. If he can add that to his game, then we'll perhaps start to understand the hype.

Deulofeu has the same 93 speed as Williams and Bruma, and he also has better dribbling skills than both. Reflecting his real-life struggles in front of goal is that low 70 score for shooting, but (again), that can be worked on over a few seasons. Put it this way: if Barca believe he's a main man, then so should you.

Don't worry too much about that combo of 26 defending and a low work rate when tracking back. That's not Deulofeu's purpose in the team. He's much more effective when going forward, and that combo of speed and dribbling will have defences shaking in their boots.
