8. New Stadiums (And Waving Goodbye To Some Old Ones)

In EA's never-ending bid to deliver a fully-fleshed football sim, some new stadiums will be entering the FIFA realm. No, we're not getting a load of arenas from the French, Spanish, Italian or German leagues, but the Premier League's authenticity will be maintained by the additions of Huddersfield's John Smith's Stadium and Brighton's Amex Arena.

If MLS soccer is more your thing, then LA Galaxy's StubHub Center is a long overdue newcomer. Hardly the biggest stadium (holding less than 30,000) the Californian building is nonetheless home to one of North America's biggest teams, so it warrants inclusion.

Away from the new, some older grounds won't feature. Spurs will play home matches at Wembley in the 2017-2018 season, which means White Hart Lane won't be part of the Premier League lineup. There's a chance Atlético Madrid's Vincente Calderon will be shunned too; the Spanish side are set to move into the Wanda Metropolitano from this coming campaign onwards.
