On the plus side for mourning Spurs and Atléti fans, matches at Wembley and the Wanda Metropolitano will be boosted by EA's brand new focus on atmosphere. Grounds that previously seemed lifeless are set to come alive as developers have worked hard on making crowds feel more like real people than before.

Let's just hope they don't look like puppets, eh? That's been a real problem over the years, one that has become less forgivable on systems like PS4 and Xbox One. For FIFA 18, EA Sports are determined to ensure that audiences react like actual footy fans would. Remember that when you're toying with the idea of bumping the difficulty up to Legendary before a Capital One Cup game against Exeter.

What this means is that chants will sound more vibrant and fans may even rush towards a goalscorer rather than looking detached to the action on the pitch. If EA get this right, it'll be one of the most aesthetically major changes to FIFA for years.
