FIFA 18: Predicting The 10 Best Strikers
9. Sergio Agüero (88)
Manchester City's go-to hitman had an 89 rating in FIFA 17, and whilst his he is creeping towards 30 years old he'll still be a force in the new game too. Expect Aguero to finish just above youngsters like Mbappé but trail behind the heavy hitters in La Liga. There's no shame in that.
For those who choose to play as Barcelona or Real Madrid, buying the Argentinian from Man City will be a real option. He won't look out of place in the world-class front lines both those clubs boast, but he will likely suit playing a lone striker rather than as part of a partnership. That's something to think about for those who favour 4-5-1.
Even if Aguero's overall rating drops a point from 89 to 88, he'll remain one of the best forward players in FIFA. The only downside is that the potential for growth is limited, but that won't matter much to those who want a 20+ goal a season striker with deft finishing.
