16. Cesar Azpilicueta - Chelsea - 85

There's a good case for Cesar Azpilicueta being one of the Premier League's very best full-backs - certainly defensively - and that's very much been reflected this year with an increase of 2 overall rating points and an 86 rating for Defending. He's also versatile, which is a great bonus.

15. Miralem Pjanic - Juventus - 85

FIFA 17 Rating: 85

After swapping Roma for Juventus two summers ago, defensive midfielder Pjanic quickly became a key component in Juve's midfield, including chipping in with 5 goals. He's great on the ball, and incredible passer and he scored a 91 for free-kick accuracy last year, which we could see again.

Definitely an all-rounder to consider again.

14. Jordi Alba - Barcelona - 85

FIFA 17 Rating: 86

Spanish full-back Jordi Alba is a little unlucky to be downgraded on last year's rating, but he did miss 12 games last year so it's not entirely unexpected. He's still going to be one of the fastest players in the game (see that 93 Pace score there), which is all a lot of players need to know.
