FIFA 19: 10 Players Who Deserve A Rating Downgrade

9. Zlatan Ibrahimović

Last Year's Rating: 88

The same goes for current LA Galaxy striker (and all-round polarising figure) Zlatan Ibrahimović.

Ibra has 16 goals in 21 appearances since joining the MLS side in March. Those who don't watch the American league shouldn't be tricked into thinking those stats mean nothing; MLS is a much better division than most give it credit for, and it's never a given that Europe's best will prosper there towards the end of their careers.

Aged 36, the big Swede is still banging them in, so why should his FIFA 19 rating drop? Two words: Edinson Cavani. The PSG forward ranked a full seven places lower than Ibrahimović in last year's game, and that's something EA need to change. After all, Cavani remains at the peak of his powers.

Ibrahimović, talented though he is, could be doing with having a point or two knocked off his score. If EA are smart, they'll gift that to the Uruguayan hitman and restore some realism.
