FIFA 19: 7 New Additions You Need To Know
3. One-Button Mode
Just like Bálor Club, FIFA should be for everyone (sorry, non-wrestling fans).
It's true though. Imagine being a well-meaning dad and sitting down with your five-year old son, only to spend some precious parenting time explaining all the button combinations possible in FIFA 18. There's the two-button mode, sure, but EA have worked hard to make things even more accessible this year.
Now, there's a one-button mode, and it'll please mums and dads across the land who only want to see little Johnny roar in delight after netting a free kick as Ronaldo. That's the kind of experiences EA want to facilitate, and it makes sense. Hopefully, the system is robust enough to cope.
FIFA 19's CPU will predict what the player wants to do depending on context or where they are on the pitch. Although that might not sound fun for a 20-something series veteran, it does mean even compete amateurs or young children will get to join in on the fun. After all, that's what video games are all about: fun.
Until some kid smashes you 5-1 by spamming the circle button, that is.
