"The English midfielder is one of the world's most exciting young talents".

Those were EA's very words in last year's FIFA 18 Top 100. When describing one of Spurs' main men Dele Alli, the dev team hinted there was more to come from the young powerhouse. There is, albeit not in this year's game. Alli, shockingly, isn't in 19's elite club full stop.

Dele clocked in at a lowly #93 last time, and it was expected he'd kick on and crack into the top 60 at least. Not quite, and it appears one p*ssed off England fan wasn't impressed by the midfield maestro's performance in that World Cup Semi Final loss to Croatia over the summer. Alli, for his sins, has been ousted.

Given EA's love of making virtually every promising Premier League player look world class in-game, this comes as a huge surprise. Raheem Sterling, Dele's England teammate, just scrapes in at #97, and there's no place for Kyle Walker, who is roundly regarded as one of Europe's best wing backs.
