FIFA 19 Wishlist: 10 Things The Fans Demand
8. An Interactive Scouting System
FIFA 18 made some worthwhile additions to Career Mode to make it more immersive. The transfer negotiation animations, for instance, made buying players a more engaging experience, but there other aspects of the game that could use interactivity.
Scouting is a good example. At present, it's automated. You send a scout to the destination of your choosing and they return with a bunch of player recommendations, while asking them to track individual players returns bare-bones information.
Like player recruitment, scouting has the potential to become an interactive experience. Once you've identified a transfer target, it would be useful to be able to watch them in action in AI-controlled matches and conduct negotiations afterwards.
Managers attend games to watch transfer targets from the stands all the time in real life, so why not reflect this in Career Mode and give players more information to go off when they adding to their squad in FIFA 19?
