FIFA 20 Career Mode: 10 Ways EA Can REALLY Fix It
6. A Transfer Frequency Slider
Konami's Master League isn't perfect, but it's a step in the right direction. Can anyone say the same for FIFA's disastrous revamp of Career Mode? It's time EA scoffed some humble pie and took a page out of the eFootball Pro Pro Professional Evolution International Superstar Splendidly Playable Soccer 2020 (not the real title, but close) playbook.
Feast thine eyes on the screenshot above.
It's one that pops up before launching a Master League campaign in PES 2020, and it allows for more customisation than ever before. Gamers can choose to limit how often their rivals trade players, they can decide how difficult their own negotiations are and more. It's wonderfully liberating to have such choice.
That transfer frequency slider, in particular, is something FIFA needs to nab. It's naff to watch the same players go to the same clubs at the same times without any control over it. By the time one reaches those Champions League group stages in September, they're often playing completely different squads to those they expect.
A little restraint, EA.
